HURT TO A LEVEL OF WISHING OTHERS DEAD?

I wrote this Article on my blog on 11th April 2013. (have a read as i am posting another one today in relation to it).  

What am I talking about?  Well, I am a Kenyan and proud to be a Kenyan.  Recently we went through a tough time as we were electing our 4^th President.  Well, as much as there were up and downs in the entire exercise, it is very disappointing to see how people who lost (supporters of Cord) which is the opposition of Jubilee felt.  I read from one of the social media a comment from one lady who wrote on her wall something that was not so nice, because it was giving my 4^th President (Uhuru Kenyatta) a few years to die! 

This broke my heart so much and I said to myself, I would never want to be hurt and wish other people’s death because that is not a blessing to myself but laying a curse to myself.   We were all created for a purpose and I do not think there is anyone in this world without a purpose.  As much as things do not go our way or the way we would want them to go, it is good to be positive and move on. 

I learnt a big lesson from the comment and as I was reading the word of God from the book of (1^st Samuel 8:1-22) was reminded of Saul the King that God gave Israelites because they really wanted a king.  God heard their cry and He told Samuel to anoint him.  Saul was just doing his father’s (Kish) work by going to look for the donkeys that got lost.  In the process, he did not find the donkeys and what the servant he was with felt, is that they should seek an answer from the Man of God (Samuel) since they knew what he said always came to pass. (1^st Samuel 9:6)  Their main agenda being to meet Samuel so that they can get the direction as to where the donkeys were, little did they know that God had already spoken to Samuel and he was told that a man was going to see him from the tribe of Benjamin a man who was impressive and without equal among the Israelites.  This shows that even in our flaws, God sees our good and he recognizes them.    Samuel was told to Anoint him as the King of Israelites despite them being warned by Samuel about what the King will do to them negatively and they would not want to know and continued to cry that they wanted a King.  But Samuel told them they will want to change there minds and it will not be possible.    Samuel went ahead and interceded for them and God heard their cry and told him to give them a King.  They met as the Bible records and Samuel anointed Saul.  He also informed them that the donkeys were found.

Why have I talked about Saul’s story?  I learnt a very big lesson that God knows who he wants to put in the authority and no one can hinder that.    It does not matter whether you are bad or good. His choice is always the best depending on His Will.  My friend from the Social Media, might have taken her President in this case (Uhuru Kenyatta) to be a very bad person and yet she does not know Him and that is why she wished him dead.  I will just say, God forgive her for she does not know what she is saying because leaders come from God and not us.  It does not matter whether you are good or bad.  It is only God who knows why he places people in leadership, regardless of who they are, where they come from, who is their earthly father is and so fourth and so on.  This is because, He will always be God and He will always prove that He is.  As much as we object the leaders that God has given us, God’s Will has to pass and no one can object that.  You may ask me, how I take my current President (Uhuru Kenyatta).  I will say this; I have known him from the media since 2002 when our 2^nd President (Moi) recommended him to be our next President that time.  And since then, I used to follow up many things he did because I was excited for him being our president that time and I was very disappointed that he did not become.  Another person was chosen as the President (3^rd President Kibaki) and I did not wish him death.  I thanked God as much as I was disappointed and I moved on.  But I continued to admire Hon. Uhuru and prayed for him all through.  I am not a clergy anywhere, but I am a child of God and I pray.  One day I was just praying as I was going to work and the Lord told me that (Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta) will be the next president and I started praying for him.  He does not know me nor does he know that someone like me prays for him and I remember I just noted it down in my diary and said if it does come to pass I will know that God speaks to me.  Surely it has come to pass and I am celebrating because I voted him, not because I know him that well.  He might have his weaknesses as I have, but I can never judge him because I will be judged harshly than I judge him but rather I wish him well.  I strongly believe in my heart if he succeeds I will also successed because the Lord spoke to me.  I do not think God spoke to me and brought to us a bad president.  I believe down in my heart that God will use him and he will bring a lot of good things in my country.  I believe in him and as much as I expect a lot from him, I know he may not bring all to pass, but God will anoint another one to continue with the work as he has done with the former Presidents    

Who do I compare him to in the Bible?  There are so many examples that I can compare him with, but for the time being I will compare him to King David.  The Lord appointed him when he was very young and he was with him (1^st Samuel 16: 12-13).  David was used of God during his reign.  When I look at my current president (His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta!), I see a lot of potential and it is my prayer that the Lord will be with him.  I know it is not easy but my work will be to pray for him because God has allowed me to pray for him.  It has been so difficult to handle the people around me who are so much against him and I have felt so bad on his behalf.  It has even brought some bitterness inside me and I am just praying that the Lord forgives me deep because I feel so hurt when I hear him being branded so many bad names that are not real.  Deep down in my heart I feel that God has brought him in this far to be the President with a reason and for a season.  That reason has to pass and I know all the difficulties he has sailed through are not because of his might or power but GOD. 

I am not a politician nor do I want to be one, but I want to be an ambassador of peace.  As much as am also getting hurt with the sentiments of my opponents from the people who did not win.  I wish to say that God commands us to live in peace and to love one another as Jesus loved us.  My prayer today is that we all seek God so that He can direct us in what we do, even in cases of choosing our leaders.  The children of God (Israelites) prayed for a King and God gave them.  The kings of this world will always be human being like any other.  But the Son of God is our King who reigns forever and is perfect.  We only need to pray and ask God to be with our leaders and help them to be used of him. 

My brothers and sisters, it is good to seek the will of God in all what we do so that God can be our guide and help us to make the right choices.  We chose a president whom many do not like may be (but I wonder how was he chosen if he is not liked?) but I would say, now that he is the President let us wait and see but not judge!  He is a human being like us, he is bound to fall and arise just as we do.   But can we respect him as the person in authority now?   If he is going to go against God’s will, as we read the story of King Saul, then he will pay the price.  (1^st Samuel 15:26)  But if he is going to do the Will of God, then we will all win and celebrate because we all want good for our Land and prosperity!  May the Lord help us and forgive us for not respecting those in authority! May He help us and give us wisdom and courage to pray and stand with them during their reign.

Amen!   

INSIGHTS THAT THE LORD HAS CONFIRMED TO ME FROM OTHERS

I love this couple as they are now my fun. I love what the wife said. As much as one would think she is not godly, she said, “She has come to realize in a relationship the woman acts or God has put her there to be like the Holy Spirit.” To me, this was so deep for someone to just understand what she was saying. I totally agreed with her as one day i was just thinking deep and i started asking God, who is a woman in a relationship? And the Lord told me that He has empowered her to be like the Holy Spirit. Most of the time things that are so deep in relation to Him as I have observed, a woman will always grasp them before the man. Then, he told me, in the family circle, we have the father, mother and the children. I agreed with him as that has always been. Then from that fact, he told me “I am the Father and thus in your world, i have put a man to be the father of the family. Then he told me “I am the Holy Spirit, and thus i have assigned Him to be the Mother in the family.” At this point, i opened my eyes wide for him to clarify to me what he meant. And he asked me, “How was my son born?” I said, “Through the Holy Spirit.” He asked, "So, what have i just said the Holy Spirit represent me in the family?" I answered, “The mother in the home.” The point sank deep as i fathomed the revelation. Then he finally said, “I am finally represented in the family as the Son. And that is why i gave my Son Jesus Christ who is a representation of me in the flesh and children are a blessing in a family, as my Son Jesus Christ is a blessing to me.  To me I am represented in a family and that is why I value families and all the peoples of the world are as a form of the family.  I want all peoples of the world to know me and worship me the true God who has made you, so that you can enjoy eternity with me.”

I might have added a few things here and there that the Lord did not really tell me, but confirmed from all what I have learnt that,  there is nothing that I ask myself that he does not answer me through His word, people, nature and the many things that he has revealed to me through.  

I just thanked the Lord for revealing all these to me and confirming to me through this couple and other servants of God who have also confirmed to me the same. Women are blessed and if they would know the place God has put them, they would not compete with anyone but just sit down and do what God has asked them to do in their silence and action. God has gifted every woman to be the person that will bring peace, harmony, love and the good tidings a family needs to be and survive this evil world. From the revelations, i have never taken myself to be less of what God has told me i am and that is why i am proud to be a woman, that the Lord would use me mightily in His work for his glory.  I am told in his word that “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.  Whoever fears the Lord walks uprightly, but those who despise him are devious in their ways.  A fool’s mouth lashes out with pride, but the lips of the wise protect them.” 

From the same interview, i realized the man also had a point that was also so deep and he said, “Since he got married to his wife, he has been blessed financially, in his career and leadership qualities, even more and things are now flowing pretty well.  Actually he is astonished that this woman has been his blessing all along and confirms that marriage is a good thing.” And the pastor interviewing them referred them to the Word of God where it says, "He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord." To me i thanked God that these two people understood their calling as a family, and who God has called them to be in relation to him. They have had their fights, bearing in mind they are celebrities who came together to form this family.  But they have decided to focus on their good and not the bad where they are trusting God to guide them and help them to be a one family full of love.  They appreciate that they all have weaknesses that they are mending together as days goes by and they believe they will make it.  Thanks be to God that they have mentors, these couple that are servants of God that they keep on talking to and are giving them the godly counsel.

God loves a family to be together and united in love. He does not expect two to come together to fight, but become a family that loves him and work together for his glory. It is my prayer that we will go back to the drawing board and see where we went wrong in relation to the family that God has ordained and given to us.    When this other guy from another interview was asked how he found the wife. He said, “He first searched himself and God and thus he felt he was ready to say i do to a woman that God had brought his way. And as much as it was not easy for him to get her, he realized the woman he was interested to, was already full and she was just herself and in love with her God. The Lord revealed to him that, for a woman to find that man, she will first seek Him, know Him and make Him her King. Then, a man who has been made and is in his position will come by her way and thus, God appears to a woman in the form of a man." To him, he felt he was the man that was meant for her as he was so ready to take her, love her, respect her and make her his wife. Today they are happily married and trusting God to walk them through the journey.  

My friends, these revelations are so deep and unless you love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind, you will not catch what i am saying. The thing here is, both men and women need to have a personal relationship with God so that he can reveal himself to them and then, he will connect them with their right spouses’ just right where they are. You do not need to act or pretend to be what you are not. When you seek God with all your heart you will find him and when you find him, he will show you wonderful things that he has put in store for you, that you have never seen, including the very special people you want in your life in form of future partners for those not yet married. 

My dear friends, it is the high time we went back to the Lord in prayer and meekness and ask him, where we went wrong so that he can make us what he has always wanted us to be. I know many relationships are in loggerheads but i want to tell someone, that God is a God of many chances as long as we will repent and obey him. He is inviting us to go back to the Trinity and relate to him in the Trinity as the Father, Holy Spirit and Son. That is the father, mother and the son (children) as it is represented in the family.   God wants us to have very powerful and happy families in order for us to accomplish his purpose on this earth just as he gives us an example of himself in the family of the Trinity. 

Might you be struggling in your life because of the issues that came up in relation to your family?  Go to God in prayer and ask him to reveal to you the things that made you stray and put you in the right track so that you can have a deep fellowship with him. Did you just rush in a relationship that turned out not to be the one and today you are regretting and asking God why did he put you in such a scenario? The fact is, it is not God who put you in such a scenario it is you in chase of the wordily things instead of chasing after him, made the wrong choice.  But am coming today as a prophet of positive and not of doom that, there is so much hope in God that he can do a turn around because he says in his word that, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

It does not matter where you are right now. Things are so chaotic and you do not know what to do. You are not the first one or the last one to be where you are. God will give you a way out.  Just seek him with all your heart, soul and mind and he will direct your path. God is so faithful he does not look at you as a stray person but he looks at you as his child. He has all the love and mercy for you, just turn back to him and ask him to forgive you. And our God who is so merciful and faithful will hear your cry and forgive you and give you another chance to have a deeper relationship with you and he will give you rest and peace. 

May the Lord help you seek him and give you many revelations as he has been giving me and may he bless you with your family and may he come for you in all aspects.

... TRYING TO BE SILENT!

The other day on my Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/Rogatoroxette/), I wrote a note and at the end of if, I asked a much emphasized question, “Who will help me to be silent?”  Of course no one came aboard to answer to my call.  So, what did I do?  I decided to make a trial to keep silent for once and mind my business.   How did I do that?  I stopped posting/writing, forwarding, liking, commenting and the rest to keep a quiet life so that I can help myself with peace that all the silent ones gain.  To be honest, this is a prison that I would never want to be in, for any other moment.    But if it will bring me no fights around me, then I will try to practice at least a percentage and not 100% that has made me feel like I am in a prison. 

To my shock, all those that used to be silent, I have seen them doing the same thing I have been doing and I am happy seeing people being real and bringing out who exactly they are; and now one does not need to judge them for being real but emulating them for coming out clearly and not pretending to be what they are not.  To my surprise, one lady I have been thinking she is a “know it all” came out so loud and clear and she really vented on Facebook.  At the end of the day, she is a very happy person now because she cleared her chest.  I remember seeing her telling her attackers off on Facebook, point blank and she never minded on what the other person felt because that is their especially when one decided to look at you in a negative way and correctly you in an incorrect manner.  That is being bold and being what God created you to be.  Of course in the process she was corrected and affirmed and today she is a changed person because she took some critics serious and went back on her drawing board and bought some ideas she never had, but got from the critics whether good or bad.  What she never wanted she discarded but what she needed, she took it and it made a whole difference as today she is enjoying her life like any other person. 

It is so hurting to see people around you especially those who call themselves children of God walking and living a lie.  It is also unfortunate that people will always want you to be what you are not so that they can silence you, especially when they know there is something great inside you.  It is the high time today; you search your soul and know exactly who you are in relation to your creator.  Remember everyone came here with a purpose and you should never live anybody’s purpose, but your purpose alone.  Many people are living people’s purposes and unfortunately because it was never meant for them, that purpose has never moved from the first step because, they do not know what next.  You picked a position in an office that was meant for someone else and today you are stuck.   You invaded someone’s marriage and you took over only to kill the family you tore apart and you are heading nowhere with that man you stole from an innocent woman.   You pretended to be the one and this young man or woman saw a good thing and married you a camouflage and the next thing the poor man or woman is doing today is looking for a divorce.  You corrupted your way out and you got whatever it is that you got and today you are stuck.  My dear friends, today, I want to break my silence and say, be the one and never let anyone make you become the one.  What am I talking about?  You are the only person who understands yourself better in good and in bad.  Can you take a personal trip and know exactly who you are and not what people are saying you are.  Work on your positive attributes by making them come out so strongly and the negative ones you take time to change to be positive. Change will never come in a day, change is a process. And if you want to agree with me, if you ask God to help you bring out the good change, it will be a better thing to do and not relying on human beings. 

Many people think when you have a mentor, that person is 100%.  I will tell you, mentors are also human beings and they also have their limitations.  But if you will depend on a mentor who depends on God fully, then that mentor can help you out through the help of God.  I am not saying people should not have mentors, what I am saying is this, for you to get any change in your life, you have to be the one who will come up with the change and not your mentor.  Mentors are there to give you a guidance and accountability so that you can achieve your desired goal. 

Today I was privileged to listen to Radio 316 (http://tunein.com/player/station/6131/?n=201605300158&PartnerId=5ai5q4d2&serial=2C7B43D7-DE26-43DD-A531-B21BB4D76280).  And they were talking about “Sponsors”.  Well, this is a topic that is going viral in our country today (Kenya) because one of our artists has sang a song in relation to sponsors and the guy to me was or is trying to tell us that we should look at “JESUS”  as our only sponsor (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TycezmrtT7k).  I know I may or will get many critics from my writing, but my point is this, we all come from different backgrounds and to be honest we see things in a very different angle.  Whether you like the song or not, whether you like the singer or not, the fact remains, you only need Jesus as your only source of hope and life and not human beings and other funny sources.  All the material things and other worldly things will pass away but Jesus will remain your God and he alone will give you life, and life in abundance. “John 10:10.  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”    

Today I want to talk to the children of God.  I do not want to talk about our artists and the songs they are making.  I do not want to be a judge here in relation to them because we have called them names and we have also opinions that are so real and genuine in relation to them, but remember you are nowhere a judge.  It is only God who will judge us “2^nd Chronicles 19:7,  Now let the fear of the LORD be on you.  Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.”    We know most of them have stopped the real praise and worship of our God, but I will say we might judge them but maybe we are worse than them, remember no one is righteous not even one “Romans 3:10- 18 As it is written:  There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.  Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.  The poison of vipers is on their lips.  |Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.  Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know.  There is no fear of God before their eyes.” 

It is only God who is supposed to be our judge because he is the only one righteous and let him remain God  “John 1:18. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in the closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.”  If God has given you a gift to go out there to praise yourself, then, that is your problem with your God and he will deal with you so amicably. But my point here was not to come and condemn anyone or praise anyone, I came here to pass a message to us all that, as the children of God, we should go back to the basics of serving God in truth and in spirit.  What our artist Gimmy Gait is trying to tell us about Sponsors from  his song is that, you should trust in God fully in everything you do, in your entire life.    

When I say this, I mean, do not just show us on Facebook how good you are, how beautiful you are, how rich you are, how you have a good family and so on and so forth.  Just let us see your goodness in all areas, at home, at work, in church at the market place and even in the darkness.  What am I talking about?  When you give yourself to the sponsors of this world like the witch doctors, adultery, fornication, prostitution, corruption, injustice, crime, drugs, gossips, manipulations, intimidation, insensitivity, love of money name them because they are many.  My friend you have chosen all that to be your “Sponsors”.  What I mean is that you have made all these evil things/activities to dominate and rule your life instead of letting God be your everything.   What am I saying?  Gimmy might have used the word “SPONSOR” to sell his song but let me tell you, that term is well used in this sense that, JESUS WILL BE YOUR ONLY SPONSOR FOR YOU TO HAVE LIFE AND HAVE IT ABUNDANTLY. 

As children of God we have to go back to the drawing board and search for God with all our hearts, soul and mind.  In the world of today, it is very hard to know who is a Christian and who is not.  We have taken so much of the circular and we have brought it to church so that we can make the church attractive and bring people back to God.  Unfortunately we have failed because; when these people come to church we have made them comfortable to live in sin because they are giving us something in church and bringing more but we have failed in the part of nurturing them so that they can bring fourth what God has put in them for his kingdom and we have taken advantage of their numbers and giving instead of capitalizing on their changes in a godly way, then we are very wrong.   We have forgotten the mandate of the church that, it is not a place for entertainment but for transforming lives in living a righteous life, loving one another and winning souls to Christ for eternity.  That point can give us a hint as to why there is a lot of fighting in church and people are not agreeing. Because we have brought the world in the church instead of taking Christ to the World and bringing them to church and help them become by walking with them and appreciating who they are and helping them in their transformation so that they can be used of God to win others out there.  So, if you call yourself a child of God, what role are you doing in church to bring the change?  Do you just sit down and just be counted in the number doing nothing but warming the seat and listening to all what your Pastor is teaching you and keeping it to yourself instead of now going out and bring more to get the change that you got and continue multiplying to the Kingdom of God.  Let us take part in bringing the Church where it belongs and not celebrating when the Church is being pointed at and think it is only the Pastors who are getting the blame.  We are all Pastors at our point of reach, because we are all called Saints.  All of us, we will give an account on what we did in the presence of our maker.    

I am not a perfect woman, but my journey with Christ has taught me so much that will not equate to my note writing such a time.  But what I want to tell us teachers of the Word, we need to go back to the basics and make sure that we are doing what the Lord told us to do in “Matthew 28: 19-20. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  As a child of God, where are you spiritually?  Remember you were just an infant when you received Christ, but you need to grow now and stop being a child.  When you come in the house of God and you are received just the way you are, do not remain where you are.  You should seek to have an intimate relationship with Christ so that he can perfect you.  When you come to church and you are received with all what manner of baggage you have and one walks with you and teaches you the things of God, why don’t you want to change and grow in him so that God can use you for his purpose and not your purpose?  Remember when you will go to heaven you will not go with your Pastor, “Sponsor”, your parents, friends, boss, teacher name all the people you replace God with.  We should all seek to please God and not mortal human beings.  “Romans 1:21-22 makes it clear that,  “For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.” Anything that you value more than God that is an idol “sponsor”.  It does not matter what it is.  Some of you it is a husband, children, business, relationships, career and many others.  Remember in our world of today, we have even made mortal beings to be our gods!  Lord have mercy on us! 

My dear friends, it is very good to be what God created you to be in order to be used of him in good and not in bad.  If you are wise, use your wisdom to bring change in the kingdom of God.  If God has given you leadership qualities, use that quality for the glory of God and not to be honoured and praised like a king.  If God has given you wealth, why can’t you use that wealth to expand the kingdom of God by helping the poor, needy and supporting the work of God.  Everyone has a part to play in the Kingdom of God and it is not about us, our fame and our celebrity.  We have taken all the glory that is meant to be God’s and that is too wrong.  This actually comes out so clearly in the house of God.   It is the high we changed the concept we have in Church today and stop playing the entertainment thing but to live for Christ in truth and in spirit.  Why live a lie?  May the Lord help us to see the point and not the pointer so that we can bring the change we need today in the Church.  May he open our eyes so that we can see the wonderful things he has in store for us and not depend on any man but on him alone who is the creator and finisher of all what he has created and that is you, me and the entire world. 

Ponder on all that and seek to please God and not human beings and be yourself and work out on your flaws as the Lord helps you, and never allow anyone to put you down or pin you down because they know your weaknesses, flaws, failures, lacks and all that, and allow them to look down upon you. Arise! You are a worthy being and no one should make you feel useless because in God’s eyes you are important even if you are a sinner.  He only wants you to surrender to him and let him be your King and Lord of your life and from there, you will have a personal relationship with him, that will lead you to greatness through his guidance and love and your life will never be the same.  Try Jesus today and you will see the fruits.
