RESPECT FOR THOSE IN AUTHORITY

I am so disappointed on all what I am seeing on TV from our leaders.  It is very unfortunate the Politics of Kenya have no respect at all and I wonder what our children are getting from us.  It pains me so deep when I see a woman of such a high caliber, standing and abusing our President.   It does not matter how much she is hurt, those words are so evil and she needs to repent.  I have no problem with all those echoing her words and actions but the fact remains, we should all respect those in authority.

I remember one time I was so hurt by a woman who abused the President when he just became the President.  That woman wished him dead.  And for sure that was so hurting to a point I wrote on my blog this article, “Hurt to a level of wishing others dead?”    To be honest, my heart bleeds for Kenya when I see what is going around in our Politics and I am not a proud Kenyan.  Three years later after I wrote my article, I did not know this is where we could be as a country.  We have lost many lives, money, respect, economy has gone down and many other negative things have befallen us, just because we have chosen leaders who do not care about the people of the country but their own affairs.  I am not a partisan when I talk like this.  I am talking as a woman of God and someone who speaks to God and gets answers.  I stopped praying so hard and having sleepless nights and asked the Lord to do according to His will.  Today I am just watching from a far what the Lord is going to do because, I can never change who people are, what they think and what they want. My prayer is that the Lord keeps his Saints safe because, I know we are praying and asking God to intervene and protect us as we are living in very evil days and we do not belong to this world, though we live in it.

I am just looking and watching and wondering what steps God will take because, if it is prayers, we have prayed, if it is fasting we have fasted, if it is prophesying about our country we have done all that.  So, what next?   I have seen God punishing people and doing all manner of things to make people change and look upon him, but people have refused.  Even with all the calamities that have befallen us, we are still giving a deaf ear to the Lord and no wonder things are going from bad to worst.  Where are we heading to?    I will not say I am tired of praying, fasting and trusting in God, but I am just tired of lying to myself that I can bring any change, if myself I am not that change.  If I will be a corrupt person and think I will make my country a non-corrupt country then I am so wrong.  If I will not respect those in authority and shout at the most top voice that God has given me to incite and call those in authority names, then I am lying to myself.  If I will not love people and serve them with all my might by reaching out to the poor, widows and even working to see the Kingdom of God is being felt where I am leading, then, I am lying to myself.

It is unfortunate as Kenyans, we want to be leaders to steal, to be famous and humiliate other human beings.  I am not mentioning names here, but we all know our leaders, what they have put on our table and what they are doing in our country and parliament today.  My prayer is this, if you feel you are really disappointed as a child of God, it is the high time, you came out of that Church pew and say enough is enough and go there and bring sanity to our country?  We are tired of bringing leaders who are not ready to serve us but to steal from us and kill our economy making every Kenyan hurt to a point of even wishing others dead and abusing them in public.  I am not here to judge my fellow woman, and today I am not judging anyone, because people are terribly hurt and no wonder they are fearless saying what is exactly in their hearts.  But for sure, she is fearless! What about those who are not saying it out rightly as she is, because of fear of rejection or other associations? As for me, i have to be honest, I cannot have such guts to insult such a man of high authority as the President because, I know the repercussions, but look at the confidence that she is showing and having.    Tomorrow our children will do worse things because they will be in her shoes and do exactly what she is doing and worse.  Not forgetting, actually our children are doing all what they are seeing on our screens day in day out, and no wonder they manifest it in schools causing all the mayhem we see around in relation to burning of schools and all the menace we see in our children.  Who are we to blame?

Abusing others and inciting people to bring chaos and fights will not help us, but make us hurt even more.  If leaders of this country can ask God for wisdom so that they can lead this country in peace, love and unity, we will not see the impunity we are seeing around in our country. I will say it here categorically; I respect my President, His Excellency Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta because, God put him there.   He has led the country for the last three years with so much pain and humiliation, yet he has not given up.  Remember he found a lot of mess in the government which he is really trying to clean and this is not an easy job to be very honest and also, we should understand he is also human; bound to err here and there.  But does it warrant anyone to abuse him and call him names where he has failed?  He is trying his level best to clear the mess in the Government; unfortunately the leaders you gave him to serve with him have failed him a great deal.  You are the ones who put those leaders in positions through election, so why do you blame him, instead of blaming yourselves?   All our leaders have failed but when we nail him alone on the cross that someone else was nailed for him and you have refused to follow Him, and put all the blame on him,  then it makes me feel kinder not happy the way people are handling him and not respecting him.   He is trying his level best by even being as calm as possible bearing in mind; this is the worst time in Kenya, to be a President because of the Constitution restrictions about his powers.  Even if WHO was put, I do not think it would be a bed of roses for anyone in his shoes.  But so far so good as in, he has tried his level best and he does not deserve to be humiliated, hurt, disrespected, hurled and all manner of ill things we are doing to him.    But we need to support him at all cost.  Even if we make how much noise, as much as the FAVOUR OF GOD is upon him, no one will change that.  It is only God who will do it.

Any one in his shoes, I am very sure would do nothing but even worse, because Kenyans, we are all sinners and the only thing we need to make us a New and a Fresh, is God.   Even if you put WHO, if Kenyans we will not change the way we do our things in relation to the politics (ELECTION), we will go nowhere and we will achieve nothing but chaos.  We have failed a great deal and we should not be blaming anybody else, but ourselves.  These people we put them in the leadership positions because they are “our tribe people” and we want a representation.  And that is why you will put any person who is not even qualified to be, because we are so tribal, unreasonable and we lack wisdom from God.  We need to look at our hearts and see who exactly we are.  We call ourselves 80% Christians, where is this Christianity then?  On Sunday we are there singing and serving God and we are the same people in the streets abusing people, cursing our country, not working but stealing (corrupt) right, left and centre and I cannot mention the many things we are doing and yet we want change.  Change can only come from our hearts and this will happen when we will accept we are all SINNERS and no one is righteous.  We only need a personal relationship with JESUS, who is the Saviour of the world. I believe when you have a personal relationship with him, you can never do the things the world does, but you will do the things the Kingdom of God does and that is when the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will come upon us.

As we approach the election year.  I beg us to pray about it and ask God to give us wisdom to choose leaders who will bring change in our country.   We are tired of fighting, suffering economically, sicknesses, poverty, unfairness and injustice around us, untold deaths, tribalism, hatred, corruption and all manner of mess we have put ourselves into.

Having had said all that, I would like to honour our President and his few good leaders like our (Education Minister, Mr. Matiangi), for the good job he has done despite the hard time of leadership they are in.  When I read the newspapers about some positive insights about our education system and remedies that he has come up with that are now working somehow, it gives me a lot of hope that, something good can be done even in opposition.  When I am on the road enjoying moving from one point to another with ease on our bypasses, I feel excited and happy for once, as much as I complain when I am in the middle of town with all the jam.  Sometimes we blame our President, yet we all love running to the congested roads in town, fight for the same things and put all the blame on him.  My friends, let us use the by passes and stop jamming the roads in town.  I thank him and her Excellency for the free maternity programs around the country.    Today many women are giving birth in ease unlike the past where children and mothers were dying in a very high rate.   And the remaining projects that are now half way that need completion which will bring a lot of change to our country when they are complete like the railway lines, the bypasses roads still in construction and other unmentioned projects that are still awaiting on him to finish, all these are good things that we can celebrate him for instead of only talking about the negative and yet the positive we never speak about it.  Can we all be human and rate him accordingly.

We all know where we went wrong.  We all know what is awaiting us in the future, our country is in our hands.  If we want to react than act, then, we will reap what we sow.  If we really need God in our country we ought to change and put all what has failed us aside, and work on the things that please God and not the things that make him sad and unhappy about us to avoid the calamities that will befall us because of our sins and our hardened hearts!  If we are not careful, God will deal with us and, actually harshly.  He is a good God and very loving, but still he is also a jealous God.  Let us not push him to be jealous because of loving other gods (men and others things we idolize) besides him.  The Bible is very clear, it says, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and will call upon his name and pray, then, he will hear from heaven and heal their land.  If that is your prayer today, can we be humble and call upon the name of God, he will hear us and heal our land.  I guess that is the prayer of everyone reading my article.

May the Lord have mercy on us Kenyans and give us another chance to do what is right so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have with us, as I cannot imagine other countries who really want to have a quarter of what we have in terms of freedom and they have nothing.  We like taking things for granted and unless we are denied them, we cannot understand what those who do not have what we have feel or miss.  Let us respect those in authority and love our country and not sell what we have to hooliganism and the corruption that we are deep in currently.  But there is so much hope if we will obey and be practical.

Thank you so much for the time we have had together this year 2016.  I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2017!  God bless you all and keep you safe and secure during the festive period.  Enjoy to the fullest and do not forget to share with the less fortunate.

HURT TO A LEVEL OF WISHING OTHERS DEAD?

I wrote this Article on my blog on 11th April 2013. (have a read as i am posting another one today in relation to it).

What am I talking about?  Well, I am a Kenyan and proud to be a Kenyan.  Recently we went through a tough time as we were electing our 4th President.  Well, as much as there were up and downs in the entire exercise, it is very disappointing to see how people who lost (supporters of Cord) which is the opposition of Jubilee felt.  I read from one of the social media a comment from one lady who wrote on her wall something that was not so nice, because it was giving my 4th President (Uhuru Kenyatta) a few years to die!

This broke my heart so much and I said to myself, I would never want to be hurt and wish other people’s death because that is not a blessing to myself but laying a curse to myself.   We were all created for a purpose and I do not think there is anyone in this world without a purpose.  As much as things do not go our way or the way we would want them to go, it is good to be positive and move on.

I learnt a big lesson from the comment and as I was reading the word of God from the book of (1st Samuel 8:1-22) was reminded of Saul the King that God gave Israelites because they really wanted a king.  God heard their cry and He told Samuel to anoint him.  Saul was just doing his father’s (Kish) work by going to look for the donkeys that got lost.  In the process, he did not find the donkeys and what the servant he was with felt, is that they should seek an answer from the Man of God (Samuel) since they knew what he said always came to pass. (1st Samuel 9:6)  Their main agenda being to meet Samuel so that they can get the direction as to where the donkeys were, little did they know that God had already spoken to Samuel and he was told that a man was going to see him from the tribe of Benjamin a man who was impressive and without equal among the Israelites.  This shows that even in our flaws, God sees our good and he recognizes them.    Samuel was told to Anoint him as the King of Israelites despite them being warned by Samuel about what the King will do to them negatively and they would not want to know and continued to cry that they wanted a King.  But Samuel told them they will want to change there minds and it will not be possible.    Samuel went ahead and interceded for them and God heard their cry and told him to give them a King.  They met as the Bible records and Samuel anointed Saul.  He also informed them that the donkeys were found.

Why have I talked about Saul’s story?  I learnt a very big lesson that God knows who he wants to put in the authority and no one can hinder that.    It does not matter whether you are bad or good. His choice is always the best depending on His Will.  My friend from the Social Media, might have taken her President in this case (Uhuru Kenyatta) to be a very bad person and yet she does not know Him and that is why she wished him dead.  I will just say, God forgive her for she does not know what she is saying because leaders come from God and not us.  It does not matter whether you are good or bad.  It is only God who knows why he places people in leadership, regardless of who they are, where they come from, who is their earthly father is and so fourth and so on.  This is because, He will always be God and He will always prove that He is.  As much as we object the leaders that God has given us, God’s Will has to pass and no one can object that.  You may ask me, how I take my current President (Uhuru Kenyatta).  I will say this; I have known him from the media since 2002 when our 2nd President (Moi) recommended him to be our next President that time.  And since then, I used to follow up many things he did because I was excited for him being our president that time and I was very disappointed that he did not become.  Another person was chosen as the President (3rd President Kibaki) and I did not wish him death.  I thanked God as much as I was disappointed and I moved on.  But I continued to admire Hon. Uhuru and prayed for him all through.  I am not a clergy anywhere, but I am a child of God and I pray.  One day I was just praying as I was going to work and the Lord told me that (Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta) will be the next president and I started praying for him.  He does not know me nor does he know that someone like me prays for him and I remember I just noted it down in my diary and said if it does come to pass I will know that God speaks to me.  Surely it has come to pass and I am celebrating because I voted him, not because I know him that well.  He might have his weaknesses as I have, but I can never judge him because I will be judged harshly than I judge him but rather I wish him well.  I strongly believe in my heart if he succeeds I will also successed because the Lord spoke to me.  I do not think God spoke to me and brought to us a bad president.  I believe down in my heart that God will use him and he will bring a lot of good things in my country.  I believe in him and as much as I expect a lot from him, I know he may not bring all to pass, but God will anoint another one to continue with the work as he has done with the former Presidents

Who do I compare him to in the Bible?  There are so many examples that I can compare him with, but for the time being I will compare him to King David.  The Lord appointed him when he was very young and he was with him (1st Samuel 16: 12-13).  David was used of God during his reign.  When I look at my current president (His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta!), I see a lot of potential and it is my prayer that the Lord will be with him.  I know it is not easy but my work will be to pray for him because God has allowed me to pray for him.  It has been so difficult to handle the people around me who are so much against him and I have felt so bad on his behalf.  It has even brought some bitterness inside me and I am just praying that the Lord forgives me deep because I feel so hurt when I hear him being branded so many bad names that are not real.  Deep down in my heart I feel that God has brought him in this far to be the President with a reason and for a season.  That reason has to pass and I know all the difficulties he has sailed through are not because of his might or power but GOD.

I am not a politician nor do I want to be one, but I want to be an ambassador of peace.  As much as am also getting hurt with the sentiments of my opponents from the people who did not win.  I wish to say that God commands us to live in peace and to love one another as Jesus loved us.  My prayer today is that we all seek God so that He can direct us in what we do, even in cases of choosing our leaders.  The children of God (Israelites) prayed for a King and God gave them.  The kings of this world will always be human being like any other.  But the Son of God is our King who reigns forever and is perfect.  We only need to pray and ask God to be with our leaders and help them to be used of him.

My brothers and sisters, it is good to seek the will of God in all what we do so that God can be our guide and help us to make the right choices.  We chose a president whom many do not like may be (but I wonder how was he chosen if he is not liked?) but I would say, now that he is the President let us wait and see but not judge!  He is a human being like us, he is bound to fall and arise just as we do.   But can we respect him as the person in authority now?   If he is going to go against God’s will, as we read the story of King Saul, then he will pay the price.  (1st Samuel 15:26)  But if he is going to do the Will of God, then we will all win and celebrate because we all want good for our Land and prosperity!  May the Lord help us and forgive us for not respecting those in authority! May He help us and give us wisdom and courage to pray and stand with them during their reign.

Amen!

INSIGHTS THAT THE LORD HAS CONFIRMED TO ME FROM OTHERS

I love this couple as they are now my fun. I love what the wife said. As much as one would think she is not godly, she said, “She has come to realize in a relationship the woman acts or God has put her there to be like the Holy Spirit.” To me, this was so deep for someone to just understand what she was saying. I totally agreed with her as one day i was just thinking deep and i started asking God, who is a woman in a relationship? And the Lord told me that He has empowered her to be like the Holy Spirit. Most of the time things that are so deep in relation to Him as I have observed, a woman will always grasp them before the man. Then, he told me, in the family circle, we have the father, mother and the children. I agreed with him as that has always been. Then from that fact, he told me “I am the Father and thus in your world, i have put a man to be the father of the family. Then he told me “I am the Holy Spirit, and thus i have assigned Him to be the Mother in the family.” At this point, i opened my eyes wide for him to clarify to me what he meant. And he asked me, “How was my son born?” I said, “Through the Holy Spirit.” He asked, "So, what have i just said the Holy Spirit represent me in the family?" I answered, “The mother in the home.” The point sank deep as i fathomed the revelation. Then he finally said, “I am finally represented in the family as the Son. And that is why i gave my Son Jesus Christ who is a representation of me in the flesh and children are a blessing in a family, as my Son Jesus Christ is a blessing to me.  To me I am represented in a family and that is why I value families and all the peoples of the world are as a form of the family.  I want all peoples of the world to know me and worship me the true God who has made you, so that you can enjoy eternity with me.”

I might have added a few things here and there that the Lord did not really tell me, but confirmed from all what I have learnt that,  there is nothing that I ask myself that he does not answer me through His word, people, nature and the many things that he has revealed to me through.

I just thanked the Lord for revealing all these to me and confirming to me through this couple and other servants of God who have also confirmed to me the same. Women are blessed and if they would know the place God has put them, they would not compete with anyone but just sit down and do what God has asked them to do in their silence and action. God has gifted every woman to be the person that will bring peace, harmony, love and the good tidings a family needs to be and survive this evil world. From the revelations, i have never taken myself to be less of what God has told me i am and that is why i am proud to be a woman, that the Lord would use me mightily in His work for his glory.  I am told in his word that “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.  Whoever fears the Lord walks uprightly, but those who despise him are devious in their ways.  A fool’s mouth lashes out with pride, but the lips of the wise protect them.”

From the same interview, i realized the man also had a point that was also so deep and he said, “Since he got married to his wife, he has been blessed financially, in his career and leadership qualities, even more and things are now flowing pretty well.  Actually he is astonished that this woman has been his blessing all along and confirms that marriage is a good thing.” And the pastor interviewing them referred them to the Word of God where it says, "He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord." To me i thanked God that these two people understood their calling as a family, and who God has called them to be in relation to him. They have had their fights, bearing in mind they are celebrities who came together to form this family.  But they have decided to focus on their good and not the bad where they are trusting God to guide them and help them to be a one family full of love.  They appreciate that they all have weaknesses that they are mending together as days goes by and they believe they will make it.  Thanks be to God that they have mentors, these couple that are servants of God that they keep on talking to and are giving them the godly counsel.

God loves a family to be together and united in love. He does not expect two to come together to fight, but become a family that loves him and work together for his glory. It is my prayer that we will go back to the drawing board and see where we went wrong in relation to the family that God has ordained and given to us.    When this other guy from another interview was asked how he found the wife. He said, “He first searched himself and God and thus he felt he was ready to say i do to a woman that God had brought his way. And as much as it was not easy for him to get her, he realized the woman he was interested to, was already full and she was just herself and in love with her God. The Lord revealed to him that, for a woman to find that man, she will first seek Him, know Him and make Him her King. Then, a man who has been made and is in his position will come by her way and thus, God appears to a woman in the form of a man." To him, he felt he was the man that was meant for her as he was so ready to take her, love her, respect her and make her his wife. Today they are happily married and trusting God to walk them through the journey.

My friends, these revelations are so deep and unless you love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind, you will not catch what i am saying. The thing here is, both men and women need to have a personal relationship with God so that he can reveal himself to them and then, he will connect them with their right spouses’ just right where they are. You do not need to act or pretend to be what you are not. When you seek God with all your heart you will find him and when you find him, he will show you wonderful things that he has put in store for you, that you have never seen, including the very special people you want in your life in form of future partners for those not yet married.

My dear friends, it is the high time we went back to the Lord in prayer and meekness and ask him, where we went wrong so that he can make us what he has always wanted us to be. I know many relationships are in loggerheads but i want to tell someone, that God is a God of many chances as long as we will repent and obey him. He is inviting us to go back to the Trinity and relate to him in the Trinity as the Father, Holy Spirit and Son. That is the father, mother and the son (children) as it is represented in the family.   God wants us to have very powerful and happy families in order for us to accomplish his purpose on this earth just as he gives us an example of himself in the family of the Trinity.

Might you be struggling in your life because of the issues that came up in relation to your family?  Go to God in prayer and ask him to reveal to you the things that made you stray and put you in the right track so that you can have a deep fellowship with him. Did you just rush in a relationship that turned out not to be the one and today you are regretting and asking God why did he put you in such a scenario? The fact is, it is not God who put you in such a scenario it is you in chase of the wordily things instead of chasing after him, made the wrong choice.  But am coming today as a prophet of positive and not of doom that, there is so much hope in God that he can do a turn around because he says in his word that, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

It does not matter where you are right now. Things are so chaotic and you do not know what to do. You are not the first one or the last one to be where you are. God will give you a way out.  Just seek him with all your heart, soul and mind and he will direct your path. God is so faithful he does not look at you as a stray person but he looks at you as his child. He has all the love and mercy for you, just turn back to him and ask him to forgive you. And our God who is so merciful and faithful will hear your cry and forgive you and give you another chance to have a deeper relationship with you and he will give you rest and peace.

May the Lord help you seek him and give you many revelations as he has been giving me and may he bless you with your family and may he come for you in all aspects.

God bless you.
